Registration OPEN for Fall Lessons in all Instruments.
OPA parents may use their allowances! High School Credit is available.
Our instructors have university degrees and/or a high level of experience as professional musicians along with years of working with younger students. It matters who teaches your children - check out credentials of any teacher before starting lessons.
There are openings in all areas for new students in private instruction at this time. Piano, Voice, Flute, Violin, Viola, Guitar, and Composition are offered.
We have excellent facilities and equipment and our prices are competitive. _________________________________________
Private music instruction is offered for students from ages 6 - 18. We believe in training the whole musician, in that students learn to read notes and rhythms, study theory and aspects of music history. It is our goal to give all students a life-long love and appreciation and understanding of music whether or not they pursue a career in the industry.
What we expect: Students will not enjoy lessons if they do not make steady progress. To this end, students should plan to maintain a regular practice schedule to assure reasonable progress. Parents are expected to actively monitor students' home practice times. Lessons for K - 12 students are scheduled on a weekly basis only with appropriate breaks during the year for holidays and vacations. |

All teachers offer no-cost meetings to meet with students and parents. At this time, you can discuss individual studio policy and see if OMS is the right choice for you and your child. Please call or write the director for an appointment.
Computer Lab!

Computer Lab: The school has a computer lab equipped with a midi keyboard where students can work on note reading using programs such as Music Ace™. With Sibelius™ or Finale™ students can learn how to compose! These programs allow the student to hear his/her compositions. We often save the midi files and e-mail them to students' parents to hear at home. It is also possible for students to take home a CD of their projects. The computer lab is available to all students studying at the school for no additional cost.
