Our instructors have university degrees and/or a high level of experience as professional musicians along with years of working with younger students. It matters who teaches your children - check out credentials of any teacher before starting lessons.

There are openings in all areas for new students in private instruction at this time. Piano (traditional and jazz improv), Voice and Composition are offered.

We have excellent facilities and equipment and our prices are competitive.

High School and Peninsula College credit are available through the school.

Private music instruction is offered for students from ages 6 - 18. We believe in training the whole musician, in that students learn to read notes and rhythms, study theory and aspects of music history. It is our goal to give all students a life-long love and appreciation and understanding of music whether or not they pursue a career in the industry.

A special note about voice lessons: Our faculty believes strongly that voice lessons should NOT commence until child is a year past puberty. Long-term physical damage can be done if serious voice instruction begins too early.

What we expect:

Students will not enjoy lessons if they do not make steady progress. To this end, students should plan to maintain a regular practice schedule to assure reasonable progress. Parents are expected to actively monitor students' home practice times. Lessons for K - 12 students are scheduled on a weekly basis only with appropriate breaks during the year for holidays and vacations.
